What we collect

• Account details: your email and a securely hashed password.
• Your uploads: videos, audio, lyrics and project settings.
• Basic usage and error logs, kept free of private media links.

How we use it

To run the editor, create captions and edits, take payment, prevent abuse and improve reliability. We do not sell your data and we do not use your music to train models.

Who processes it

Hosting, storage, payment and email providers process data on our behalf, only to provide SongCut. Audio sent to a transcription service is used only to return your lyrics.

How long we keep it

Temporary files are removed within 24 hours. Finished exports are kept for 7 days unless you save them. Saved projects stay while your account is active.

Your choices

You can download or delete your projects and delete your account from settings. Deleting your account erases your personal data. Contact support@songcut.io for any request about your data.
