Using SongCut
SongCut is a tool for editing your own music videos. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and you are responsible for your account and everything done through it.
Your content and your rights
You keep ownership of what you upload. Before you upload, you confirm that you own the music and video, or have permission from the owners to upload and edit them. You give SongCut only the permission needed to store, process and return your files to you.
What is not allowed
- Uploading content you do not have the right to use.
- Content that is illegal, or that sexually exploits or endangers anyone.
- Trying to bypass plan limits, branding or security, or overloading the service.
Plans and payments
The Free plan adds a short SongCut outro to every export. Pro is billed monthly or yearly and renews until cancelled. Purchases made in an app store follow that store's billing and refund rules. Limits may change with notice.
Storage and deletion
Finished exports are kept for a limited time unless you save them to a project. You can delete your projects and your account at any time, which erases your personal data.
Service and liability
SongCut is provided as is. Automatic lyrics and beat detection can be wrong, so please review them before you publish. To the extent the law allows, SongCut is not liable for indirect losses, and total liability is limited to what you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending your account
You can stop using SongCut at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
